A member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, said today that the leader of the HDZ BiH, Dragan Covic, is causing great damage to Bosnia and Herzegovina and that it is no coincidence that he is said to be “one of the three key pillars of the Greater Serbia policy”.
Bećirović laid flowers today at Kovaci on the occasion of May 2, the 33rd anniversary of the defense of the BiH Presidency and the city of Sarajevo. In a statement to reporters, he said that the defense of the Presidency during that period was crucial.
“Even today, it should be said that the Presidency plays an important role. No one should ever allow such a system to occur, which would imply an asymmetrical election in the Presidency. This should not even be negotiated. We must work on building two key bridges, towards the European Union and NATO,” Bećirović said.
He added that policies that do not accept an independent, sovereign and indivisible Bosnia and Herzegovina, unfortunately, have never died and are still trying to destabilize Bosnia and Herzegovina today.
The U.S. Senate has proposed three federal
Referring to the statements of HDZ BiH leader Dragan Covic about “three federal units”, Bećirović said that Covic does not act in the interest of the Croat people or in the interest of BiH.
“In the manual written by Kecmanović and Antić, and called the history of the RS, it is written that Čović is one of the three key pillars of Greater Serbia politics. You should read this part carefully, they did not write it by accident. We need good cooperation with Croatia and good cooperation between Bosniaks and Croats, but Covic is causing great damage to BiH.”

“Federalism alone is the future of this country, if you have three federal units, you have solved absolutely everything,” the president of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina said in an interview with Hrvatski tjednik, which was reported earlier this week by media in the region.
“All the words of Douglas are gone.”
When it comes to the president of the Bosnian entity of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, he said that all words were used against him.
“He is a political scoundrel. He plays on the field of primitivism, and I play on the field of legal arguments. I will never stoop to his level. I have never made a single statement that is in any way offensive to any people in BiH. I respect all people equally, I think that the future of this country lies in mutual respect,” Bećirović concluded.
The president of the Republika Srpska entity, Milorad Dodik, provoked fierce reactions on Tuesday after he made a series of controversial and offensive claims during a public address following a meeting of the ruling coalition in Republika Srpska.
In his speech, Dodik stated that the solution to the political crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina would be for Bosniaks to “return to the Orthodox faith”, suggesting that only then would Bosnia and Herzegovina be a “majority Serb” state that could function.
